Last Day of 2011

Another year has almost passed through my life. Made it richer, and gave me deeper understanding of myself.
I plan to spend some time today, in the last day of 2011, to meditate. First part of it will be devoted on Ganpati Kriya, and

Here is this song, which has always been very special to me, somehow sad, and unconditional. Maybe same as the true love is. Truth to be told I'd forgotten about this song for quite a few years. And then, a new cover of this song's

Kidney Beans Stuffed Sun-dried Peppers

A few years ago I tried for a first time the typical Bulgarian dish, sun-dried red peppers stuffed with beans, in a cozy and nice restaurant, called Vishnite. Ever since I've dreamt of making the dish on my own. More to that, I've not eaten this again since. How come? I can't answer this question otherwise but be honest - I simply don't know :)
But the right time has come and for this Christmas

Raw Xmas Sweets

What could be better for enhancing the holiday spirit than delicious healthy sweets?!
My desire was to prepare something sweet, healthy, easy and quick. All requirements were answered by the following recipe:

Christmas Is All Around

During my childhood in the socialism times Christmas wasn't a big deal at all. The older people may had celebrated it in some way or another but for us, the children, the holiday that was important was New Year's eve, as that was the time to find our presents under the Holiday Tree (called "елха" - "elha"). The presents were brought to us by Grandpa Frost and his

Pumpkin Cream Soup For The Soul

It's started snowing here and I felt like making something special to indulge my soul in the cold weather. The other night I was invited to a family dinner and the pumpkin soup the host prepared was just heaven! And that's a lot, coming from me, as I'm not a huge pumpkin fan! Decided to give it a try, and maybe do some small amendments (not that it required improvements, more like to add my own signature ;)

Chocolate & Banana Raw Cake

As I've said before, I often crave for sweet. Since recently I've started paying more attention to the effects sugars have on the human's body, thus started avoiding using sugar, fructose, etc.
Today I'm going to present you an easy and quick recipe, which turned out to be such a great success that even my cat was tempted to try it!

Wish You Were Here

Surely there are times in our lives when we're set apart from the ones we want most to be with.
People in my country say that eyes that are not seen are to be soon forgotten. That time and distance play major role in all relationships. That if you're not together, you soon take your own paths and alienate. But I've seen people who live together and lack togetherness. People who can look into your eyes and swear they love you and can't even imagine living without you, and yet they

How to Prevent and Reverse Cancer *

In the last few years I've been searching a lot of information about what to eat and how to live in order to improve my health condition. I've been suffering all my life from different forms of allergies and often been sick. Step by step I dropped meat, fried & canned food, milk and dairy products, sugars, flour, chemical cleansers, etc. I've read a lot of books and listened to gigas of presentations and lectures. But the book I read last, Never Fear Cancer Again: How to Prevent and Reverse Cancer by Raymond Francis, M.Sc., was the one that impressed me most.

Everything Is Changing

My world has changed so much over the years that sometimes I feel like I've lived in different worlds. I've changed, too. Can't stop but wonder: Is it going to be like that, always? Is there a limit, a deadline, a stop?

"The Bitter Truth"

All my life I've been a huge fan of eating sweet! I remember me being a child and eating up all of the chocolate I was given at almost the same instant moment. Not that I was given sweets that often. I grew up in the times when our country was ruled by communism and we all were poor and limited in our choice. There were bananas & oranges once a year, around Christmas (or rather New year, as we were forbidden to celebrate Christmas or relate to it), and our parents were able to buy a limited amount of those foods. I loved them, I guess, mostly for this reason. Not that the case with the chocolate was the same. At home we had it more regularly and also my Mom used to prepare a

Cashurman*: Tasty & Healthy Dessert

I bet you've heard the saying that everything, which is tasty is unhealthy. This couldn't be more wrong: I've proved it for myself and now gonna share with you.
Here is a recipe for a dessert, that is in the same time delicious and good for your health. More to that, it's got only three ingredients and is very easy to prepare:

Raw Prebiotics Dip

The other day I saw an old man selling at the market Jerusalem Artichoke, his own produce. Decided to buy half a kilo of this delicious vegetable and cook something healthy and new.
For those of you who are not familiar with Jerusalem Artichoke (aka Topinambur), here is some more information on it.
I would like to only add that Topinambur is a great source of Inulin and the second best known source of prebiotics in the World.
