All My Little Worlds

Have you ever tried to catch a star, or something simpler - hold a butterfly in your palm and make it stay there? It might have been something not so obviously impossible, though. I, personally, have tried so many impossible things, that finally I've lost the count. A question of fate, as one may say. Or as it so well put in one of my most favourite books, Alice in Wonderland:

"Alice laughed: "There's no use trying," she said; "one can't believe impossible things."
"I daresay you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was younger, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."

Yet I believe it's only valid when you're challenging yourself with the impossible: your abilities, qualities, dreams... And when it comes to other people in your life, eh, then some things are just as impossible, as catching a star. I've spent a lot of my time fighting for people who simply didn't belong with me. It took so much time until full realization. And you know what? This is the song, which helped me to put my thoughts and emotions in order. And there was a long period during which I misheard a part of the lyrics: instead of "words" I was hearing "worlds"... ;)

Nice song, and "little worlds" suits even better!
