Magic Carrot Cake (Raw)

I don't know if there could be a good culinary book without a recipe for a Carrot cake ;) I've tried so many different carrot cakes that I've completely lost the count. But I could guarantee that the most delicious one is prepared in accordance with the recipe I'm going to share with you in a minute.
The magic is not only in the ingredients but also in the fact that it's a raw food.
Try eating this magic cake with your eyes shut and enjoy the feeling how with every bite the pleasure of life increases!

Ingredients for the crust:
Walnuts: 1 cup, raw;
Dates: 1 cup, pitted, soaked in water for at least 1h;
Carrots: 3 cups, grated;
Cinnamon: 1 tablespoon;
Ginger: 1/2 tablespoon;
Nutmeg: 1/2 teaspoon;
Raisins: 3/4 cup;
Dried figs: 3/4 cup;

Ingredients for the frosting:
Cashew: 1 cup, raw, soaked in water for at least 1h;
Honey: 2 tablespoons;
Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon, fresh;
Spring water;

Preparation of the crust:
Step 1: Grind the walnuts.
Step 2: Cut the dates, figs and raisins into small pieces.
Step 3: Mix everything together.

Step 4: Put the mixture on the bottom of a cake form.

Step 5: Refrigerate for at least 30 min before adding the frosting.

Preparation of the frosting:
Step 1: Blend the soaked cashews, after carefully washing them.
Step 2: Add the water, lemon juice and the honey to the mixture.

Step 3: Blend all together well.
Step 4: Put over the base;

Step 5: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
